Notes
According to Scott Bruce and Bill Crawford in Cerealizing America: The Unsweetened Story of American Breakfast Cereal (Boston: Faber and Faber, 1995, p.159), Heublein Inc. produced a vinyl bank available by redeeming box tops from Maypo Cereal. This figurine is not a bank but is probably of the same vintage.
