Notes
This building was attached to St. Paul's Cathedral on Bank Street between St. Paul and Pine Streets. The cathedral was destroyed by fire in 1971; the existing St. Paul's Cathedral was built on a new site on Cherry Street. The cathedral fire is discussed in Liisa Reimann, Burlington Firefighting (Charleston, SC: Arcadia Publishing, 2006).
