Letter from Adelaide Orvis in Salem, Wisconsin to her cousins Lucy and Jessie Benedict in Burlington, Vermont. Sixteen-year-old Adelaide Orvis writes about her studies in school, attending singing school, attending a dance, having a parlor organ at home, receiving Christmas gifts, and traveling to Kenosha, Wisconsin to have studio photographs taken. Enclosed in the same envelope with a letter from Flora Orvis to Lucy and Jessie Benedict (2019.33.2).
