This building was located on the corner of Cherry and Pine Streets, behind St. Paul's Cathedral on Bank Street. The Cathedral destroyed by fire in 1971; the existing St. Paul's Cathedral was built on a new site on Cherry Street. This fire is discussed in Liisa Reimann, Burlington Firefighting (Charleston, SC: Arcadia Publishing, 2006).
