Notes
This building, also known as the parish house, was located on Bank Street between Pine and St. Paul Streets, attached to St. Paul's Cathedral. The parish house fire occurred in February 1910. The cathedral was destroyed by fire in 1971; the existing St. Paul's Cathedral was built on a new site on Cherry Street. The cathedral fire is discussed in Liisa Reimann, Burlington Firefighting (Charleston, SC: Arcadia Publishing, 2006).
