Description
An oral history interview narrated by Jan Ruiz, Class of 2026, conducted by Monica Fung-Janardan. Among other topics, Ruiz discusses his Latino identity and experience as a student of color at Champlain, visiting the Office of Diversity & Inclusion (ODI) and forming close relationships with other students of color through the ODI. He also discusses living in Valcour Hall, working in the Library, attending the Ahead program, and receiving support through the Angel Fund. This interview was conducted as part of the Archiving the Diverse Voices of Champlain College oral history project, a collaboration of the Champlain College Archives, Office of Diversity & Inclusion, and Office of International Student Services. 10:48.
