Photographer Frederick H. Tims (1863-1931), a native of Reading, England, owned a studio at 67 Church Street in Burlington from circa 1909 to 1927. For a brief period in 1910 and 1911, Tims was joined by his son Louis; during this time, the business was known as F.H. Tims & Son. In addition to selling portraits, Tims sold many photographs of local street scenes, events, and scenic views as postcards. This mini exhibition highlights just a few of the many postcards by Tims in Champlain College's Special Collections; for more, type "Tims" into the search box at upper right.
