Between 1920 and 1929, Vermont native Calvin Coolidge served as Vice President and then President of the United States. Featured here is a selection of memorabilia from the two presidential campaigns in which he was involved -- the 1920 Harding & Coolidge campaign and the 1924 Coolidge & Dawes campaign -- including political buttons, sheet music, and more. During both campaigns, Coolidge played up his image as a simple and upstanding Vermont farmer -- despite the fact that he had spent most of his career before assuming national office as a Massachusetts politician.
